Privacy Policy

Last updated September 25, 2026

This policy explains what [Legal business name] ("we", "us") collects when you use the Nutra Insiders website, its free tools and emails, and The Foundry course, what we use it for, who it's shared with, and the choices you have. We don't sell your personal information.

What We Collect

  • Account details. Your email address, and your name if you give it. When you buy The Foundry, we create your account from the email and name you enter at checkout, so you're signed in straight away. Accounts are run by our sign-in provider, Clerk, which also handles your password or sign-in method.
  • Purchase details. Your email address, what you bought, the amount and the payment references Stripe gives us. Stripe processes the payment itself, so we never see or store your full card number.
  • What you enter in the course. The numbers and answers you put into the course's calculators and tools, which lessons you mark complete, and any feedback you leave on a lesson. We keep these so your work is saved and carries between modules and devices.
  • Email signups. If you ask the margin calculator to email you your results, we keep your email address, the numbers you entered (so the first email can send them back), which emails in the series you've been sent, and whether you've unsubscribed.
  • Where you came from. If you arrive through an ad or a tagged link, we save the ad click identifier and campaign tags from the link, and the page you landed on, and attach them to a signup or purchase you make afterwards. This tells us which ads and emails lead to sales.
  • Analytics and advertising data. On our public pages (the home page, free tools, legal pages and the page you see after buying), Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics and advertising measurement tags. These collect the pages you view, how you arrived, your browser and device, and an approximate location based on your IP address, and use cookies to recognize repeat visits. When you sign up for emails or buy, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address is passed to Google so it can match the signup or sale to its own ad records; Google can't read the address from it. The course pages themselves carry no analytics or advertising tags.
  • Course access records. Which course pages your account opens and when, with the IP address and browser used. We use these to apply our refund policy, to spot account sharing, and to answer payment disputes.
  • Messages. What you send us when you email us or reply to one of our emails.

We don't ask for health information, and the course doesn't need any. Please don't send it to us.

How We Use It

  • To provide the course: create your account, give you access after you pay, save your work and send you messages about your purchase.
  • To send the email series you asked for, and stop it when you unsubscribe or buy the course.
  • To measure which pages, ads and emails work, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested, including people who have visited our public pages.
  • To answer your messages, prevent fraud and misuse (such as account sharing), keep the site secure, and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and Browser Storage

  • Sign-in cookies from Clerk keep you signed in. The site doesn't work without them.
  • ni_attr stores where you came from (see above) for 90 days.
  • ni_checkout holds your checkout reference for up to 30 days after you pay, so the purchase can be attached to the account you create.
  • Browser storage keeps a copy of the numbers you enter in the calculator and the course on your device, so they're there when you come back, and remembers that a purchase has already been reported so it isn't counted twice.
  • Google Analytics and advertising cookies, set through Google Tag Manager on our public pages, measure visits and ad performance.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the course needs the sign-in cookies to work. You can control how Google uses data for ads at adssettings.google.com and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

Who We Share It With

We share personal information only with the companies that help us run the site, for the purposes above, and they may use it only to provide their service to us:

  • Clerk, for accounts and sign-in
  • Stripe, for payments
  • Neon, for our database
  • Resend, to send email
  • Google, for Tag Manager, Analytics and advertising measurement
  • our website hosting provider

We also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case the buyer would be bound by this policy.

We don't sell personal information for money. Some US state privacy laws treat letting advertising partners collect data through tags on a website for ad targeting as "sharing". If you'd like to opt out of that, email us at support@nutrainsiders.com, and you can also block advertising cookies in your browser.

Emails

We send marketing emails only to people who ask for them, such as through the margin calculator signup. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. If you buy the course, the email series stops. We'll still send you messages about your purchase and your account, such as your access email, which aren't marketing and don't need consent.

How Long We Keep It

  • Account and course data: for as long as your account exists, then deleted.
  • Purchase records: for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is deleted.
  • Course access records: for as long as we keep the matching purchase record, even after an account is deleted, because they're our evidence if a payment is disputed.
  • Email signups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After an unsubscribe we keep your address on a suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake.
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings in Google Analytics.

Your Choices and Rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Residents of some US states, including California, have these rights by law, and we extend them to everyone. We won't treat you differently for using them.

To make a request, email support@nutrainsiders.com from the address on your account or signup. We may need to confirm it's you before acting, and we'll respond within 45 days. Deleting your account ends your access to the course, and deleted course entries can't be recovered.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections, sign-in is handled by Clerk, and payments by Stripe. Access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without permission, but we'll tell you if a breach affects your information as the law requires.

Children

The site and the course are for adults running a business. They aren't directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Where Data Is Stored

We're based in the United States, and our providers store and process data in the United States. If you use the site from elsewhere, your information will be transferred there.

Changes to This Policy

We'll update this policy when our practices change, and change the date at the top. For material changes, we'll email account holders before they take effect. See also our Terms of Service.
